For over 50 years, Puget Sound residents have joined together through PCC Natural Markets to improve the quality and nutrition of foods available, educate themselves about food and environmental issues, and create a marketplace for local, organically grown foods. Nash's Produce thanks PCC for its support and congratulates its board, its staff, and especially its members for their vision and dedication to sustainable agriculture.

Originally called "CSA" (for Community Supported Agriculture), farm share programs began as a food-for-labor exchange about 20 years ago in New England. Today, many organic farmers sell shares in their upcoming harvest in the early spring, providing them the cash for spring planting and equipment. During the course of the harvest season, the share purchaser receives a weekly box of fresh, organic vegetables. Through closer involvement with the farmer, the share purchasers develop a deeper relationship with the land where their food is grown, and come to a better understanding how their food is produced.
Harvest starts mid-June to early July and lasts until Christmas for a total of 25 boxes. Each box contains a balanced representation of that week's harvest, with 8 to 10 different vegetables, from leafy greens to many types of root crops. Please refer to the Seasonal Chart for an approximation (weather permitting) of our harvest expectations.
Clallam County Farm Share members can pick up their weekly box at any of our Farmer's Market locations, or directly at the farm when it is open for retail. We're also launching a limited home delivery program. If you are interested in participating this coming year, please contact Sid Maroney, Farm Share Program Assistant Manager, at (360) 681-NASH (6274), or at farmshare@nashsorganicproduce.com .

vegetables, & recipes & preparation tips for success in the kitchen.
-An increased awareness both about agriculture in the Puget Sound & the importance of
community support for local farmers.
-Invitations to special events such as the annual Strawberry Social (hosted in the berry patch!), farm tours, barn dances & workshops.

-Financial security that allows us to continue as stewards of the Dungeness Delta.
The Real Deal
Nash's Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is the real deal! We don't purchase products from other states or countries! As a Farm Share Member you get to know the hands that feed you, and can be assured that 95% of what's in your box* is grown in the Dungeness River Valley on our certified organic, Salmon Safe Certified farm. Everything is harvested in its prime so you get the freshest & most vitamin/nutrient rich produce possible.
Share The Harvest
As the season progresses and crop diversity changes, the farms bounty is reflected in your Farm Share. Our CSA program provides your family with 6 healthy months of delicious produce!
Share The Adventure
Farming can be a risk. Nash calls it an adventure! His team plants a diverse selection of crops, among them, his famous carrots-the sweetest & most-tender in the Northwest. Subscribe and enjoy the luxury of tasting vegetables you may have never had before.

*Because of the demand for seasonal fruit, we do purchase Washington-grown organic peaches, nectarines, and apricots from certified organic growers on the east side of the state, with whom we have cultivated direct relationships.
With each box of produce comes a new farm share newsletter. The newsletters are archived here as PDF files. Left click the newsletter you're interested in to download it to your computer.
